FAFSA program and workshop, Nov. 1

Teens!  Are you ready to pay for college? In this session, on November 1, we’ll help you better understand the financial aid process and prepare you to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We’ll also look at ways to add to your college savings and key strategies to minimize the cost of college. Leave with many practical tools and resources to help you best prepare. This program is presented by Jessica Whittier, who is a College Access Counselor at the Finance Authority of Maine (FAME) with 17 years of experience helping students navigate their path to college.

Although designed for teens and their parents, anyone who is thinking about financing their continuing education is welcome to attend this helpful and informative program!  Registration is requested and appreciated so that we have enough handouts for all attending.

Following the Financial Aid presentation, participants will have access to some hands-on instruction for completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).   Registration is required for this workshop as space is limited to 12.
