Curbside Pickup Program

The Auburn Public Library has moved to a curbside pickup only service. This means that we will no longer offer the option to browse in person for books. We have limited computer availability by appointment only, and limited (one person at a time) Copy/Fax/Scan service.

To borrow items through our curbside service:

Place holds online through our online catalog, or by calling or emailing us (333-6640 ext. 2 or request@auburnpubliclibrary.org).  We will try to pull requests frequently, but it may take 1-2 days for us to prepare your items. If you are not sure what you want, please call, and we will be happy to make suggestions.

When your holds are ready you will be notified by email or phone, depending on how your account is set up.

Stop by anytime during curbside hours (M-F 10-6; SAT 9-1) to pick up holds. Call us from the Library Ave. parking lot (333-6640 ext. 2) and we will bring your items out. You do not need to call ahead, but if we know when you are coming, we will have your items already checked out.

Fees for borrowing movies and audiobooks will be waived while the library is open for curbside service only.

Returns

All returns should be placed in the drop boxes, located at the Library Ave. and Spring St. entrances. Items will be quarantined for 3-5 days. Late fees will be waived during the time we are open for curbside service only.

Make an appointment to use the computer

Computers are available by appointment only. Call the reference desk (333-6640 ext. 4) to schedule a time. We cannot accommodate walk in computer use at this time. Appointments are available Monday-Friday, 10-5:30PM.
