The stars come to APL!

See the stars –inside the library! Northern Stars Planetarium returns with the mobile Star Lab to present an in-depth look at an unspoiled night sky.  Join us as we look at the spring night sky! We will have four sessions of this half hour program on  April 28th at 4, 4:45, 5:30, and 6:15  p.m. Registration is required, please register for only one session.

Play and Learn — starts April 1

Fridays, April 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29th
10-11:15 AM in the Maggie Trafton Program Room
As part of the Family Place Initiative at the Auburn Public Library, we will be holding a free parenting/playgroup series for parents and their young children ages 1-3. Our next session begins on Friday, April 1st and will run for five weeks.

KIDS! Read to Baxter

KIDS! Come read to Baxter, the Library Cat, on Wednesday afternoons from March 9th through the 30th at 3 pm in the children’s room. Baxter loves to read, but he loves being read to even more! For more information, please call the library at 333-6640 ext.3.

A Seuss Inspired Story Time! 3/2 @10AM

In honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, we welcome you to a special Seuss inspired preschool story time. All gather in the Children’s Room and the children ages 3-5 (and experienced listeners who are almost three) move to the program room for Dr. Seuss inspired stories, a craft, and special party games. March 2, 10 am.

Math Fun for Kids!

The Auburn Public Library is pleased to offer another session of Bedtime Math’s Crazy 8’s Math Club for children in Kindergarten through grade 2 beginning on Tuesday March 1st from 4-5 pm and running through Tuesday, March 22nd. Crazy 8’s Math Club is designed to make math fun. Kids will jump, run, build stuff and make a mess all while learning cool math concepts. Some of the fun activities planned include; Toilet Paper Olympics, Lets’s Get Loud, Bouncy Dice Explosion and M&M Madness and Mayhem. Come join the fun.
