Just a reminder that our APL Presents Comic Book Workshop with Mike Jordan is coming up on July 14th & 21st. Teens who like to draw and/or write and are between the ages of 12-18 are invited to be a part of the staff for this special summer issue of APL Presents. This program requires pre-registration, and teens registering must be available on both dates. There are still a few spots available. To register, go to the program calendar or call the Reference Desk at 333-6640, ext. 4.
No worries! Stop by the Reference Desk (2nd floor) to sign up for this summer’s Reading Program, “Unmask!”
Keep a Reading Log, fill out an Activities Sheet, and attend our summer programs. There are lots of prizes for participation and chances to win 1 of 4 finale prizes, which will be awarded on August 14th!

Teens! Be sure to join us on Tuesday, June 23, as we kick off our 2015 Teen Summer Reading Program, “Unmask!” For this year’s program as we turn our attention to heroes, we are pleased to welcome local heroes from the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society. The GAHS are heroes to the many lost, surrendered and abandoned animals in our community. Come meet some of the amazing people who do this great work at GAHS (along with a furry friend or two), hear about how they do what they do, and teens can learn about how they can help. Teens who bring a donation of pet food for the shelter will be entered into a drawing for three door prizes. This program will take place in the Androscoggin Community Room from 3-4 p.m. Although sign up for the Teen Summer Reading Program is just for teens, ages 12-18, other family members are invited to attend this event.
