At any moment in a day, you might find people ranging in age from infants to grandparents in the Children's Room. Perhaps they are looking for storybooks or seeking out information for their third grade school report. No matter what the reason, they are sure to find something of interest. The Children's Department circulates books, popular paperbacks, tape and book sets, audiocassettes, literature-based videos, and magazines.
Storytimes for preschoolers are provided regularly; also, special programs for children and families are presented on literature, the arts, and the natural sciences.
We welcome group and classroom visits, or we will visit your group to read aloud.
Take your family on an outing that's fun for all. Kiwanis Club of Auburn/Lewiston has funded free and reduced-price family passes to area museums!
