“Wildlife Snap Shots” Photographs by Tim Amero
An exhibit running from December 14, 2011 through January 31, 2012
In the Androscoggin Community Room.
“Wildlife Snap Shots” is a collection of 24 color photographs of wildlife found throughout Maine. Tim Amero, a resident of New Auburn, has dedicated his retirement to nature photography, particularly to the many Maine species that he has grown to love.
Tim hopes that his photographs of Maine’s birds, beasts and insects will give viewers an appreciation for the diversity of life in our state. He also hopes that his photographs will inspire viewers to defend and protect our local environment to ensure the survival of the natural world.
Tim is a retired math teacher who decided to learn nature photography in retirement as a complement to the oil painting talents of his wife Claire.
The Auburn Public Library is proud to support local artists by showing their work in the Androscoggin Community Room. This is made possible by the generous support of the City of Auburn, the Town of Minot and many individuals who make financial contributions to the Auburn Public Library’s annual fund.
