Formatting e-books at LPL 3/18
NOTE: This program takes place at the Lewiston Public Library
You’ve decided self-publishing is right for you. You’ve brought your manuscript through the multiple editing phases, you have cover art, and you are ready to publish. High five! You decide not to just run your document through an ebook conversion tool that will leave your formatting swinging in the breeze. Instead, you decide to put a lot of thought and a little bit of work into making sure your book puts its best flap forward and you come to this workshop to learn how.
Melissa Walshe published her first book, Autumn’s Daughter in 2014 and will soon be releasing the sequel, Autumn’s Sister. She is a professional copywriter for shines & jecker laboratories, where she is currently developing readmaine.com. She has an Ed.M. in language and literacy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in linguistics from the University of Southern Maine. Most of her waking (and dreaming) hours are spent thinking about how to tell a more compelling story.
