Staff borrowing of library materials
Auburn library cards are free to all staff members. Staff members are encouraged to use their borrowing privileges as a benefit of employment and to become informed and knowledgeable about the Library’s collections. The staff is expected to abide by the same borrowing privileges and loan periods as the public. With permission of the Lending Services Manager, exceptions to this may be made if circumstances warrant.
To borrow library materials, a staff member must have a library card.
Library cards are issued in the Lending Services Department by a member of the Lending Services staff.
Circulation of Materials
All library materials must be checked out in the library circulation system.
Staff members may check out material without having their card present.
