The Library is out of Eclipse Glasses.

We are out of eclipse glasses.  From Nasa, here are some suggestions for retailers, and DIY pinhole projection viewers.

Pinhole Projection viewers Note that pinhole projection does not mean looking at the Sun through a pinhole! You project sunlight through the hole onto a surface and look at the solar image on the surface.

On Monday, August 21, the public is welcome to gather on the back lawn of the Library from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. to watch the eclipse. The Library will have a limited number of viewing glasses to hand out (required for viewing on library property) and fun activities to enjoy while waiting for “totality” at approximately 2:45.
