Let’s Pretend starts 10/2

Come join us as we explore different professions with your young child. Each week we will read a story about a different occupation, create a related craft, and have fun pretending. Let your child’s imagination soar! For children ages 2 – 5. Free. No registration required. Join us for one session or come to all four.

Sprouts resume Sept. 19

10:30 AM – 10:50 AM in the Children’s Room
Join us Saturday mornings, 10:30- 10:50 a.m., early September through May, for a rousing lap sit program for babies through 36-months and their caregivers. We’ll gather on the story quilt with Heather to enjoy songs, nursery rhymes, and dancing, while making new friends
Preschool Story Time resumes Sept. 9

Each Wednesday morning we offer our story program for children ages 3-5 at 10 am. All gather in the Children’s Room and the children ages 3-5 (and experienced listeners who are almost three) move to the program room for stories, songs and a craft. This program is for families; agencies and childcare groups may contact the library to schedule visits at another time. 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM in the Maggie Trafton Room. Please join Caroline Coffin of Androscoggin Music Together for a free demonstration of the Music Together program on Friday August 21st in the Maggie Trafton Program room.
Music Together is a research-based music and movement program that supports the musical development of babies, toddlers, preschoolers and their caregivers.

Fun with French Storytime
KIDS! Meet a Local Hero

Join us on Wednesday July 22nd at 10 am to meet Auburn Police Department Corporal Kris Bouchard and his canine partner, Dutch. Dutch is a pure-bred German Shepard and has been trained at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy along with his handler, Corporal Bouchard.
