American Girl Doll Activity Kits

American Girl Dolls are now available to borrow.  The dolls come with the first book in their series. The American Girl series explores the history of our country.

  • Addy’s story takes place in 1864 and is centered around the struggles of being a slave during the Civil War.
  • Molly’s story takes place during the Second World War.
  • Kirsten is a Swedish immigrant on the Minnesota plains in 1854.
  • Kaya is a member of the Nez Perce tribe in 1764.
  • Rebecca is growing up in New York in 1914. She dreams of being a star on the silver screen

Themed Activity Kitstrains

Activity Kits, focused on a theme like trains, weather, family and much more are available to be be checked out by parents for use
with their children at home. These kits focus on early literacy and pre-reading skills by providing fun activities that parents and children can do together. In addition to activities each kit contains theme based books that will provide hours of enjoyment.

iPad Activity Kits


We now have iPads to loan out to parents with children ages 2 through 5. These Early Literacy iPads are preloaded with apps that support early literacy development.  Parents with a library account in good standing may check out the Early Literacy iPad for one week to use at home with their child. Borrower’s Liability Form
