Digital Literacy Workshop: Computer Basics, Sept. 21

In today’s workshop, students will learn about a computer’s operating system.  Skills will include navigating the desktop, organizing files and folders, managing the windows of an application, and working within files.  Participants will have hands-on practice and will leave with helpful tips for future use.

This program, one in a series of five, is made possible by a grant from the Public Library Association’s Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive, which is supported by AT&T.

This workshop will take place in person, in the library’s Computer Lab located on the 2nd floor.  Registration is required as space is limited.  To register, click here, or call the Reference Desk at 207-333-6640, ext. 4.

The next program in this series, Navigating the Internet, will take place on October 20.
