As the days grow shorter and the air gets cooler, it is the perfect time to embrace the warmth and comfort of hygge right here at the library!

Stop by APL for an enjoyable and engaging lap-sit program for babies, toddlers, and caregivers. Siblings are also welcome to participate.

Join Children's Librarian, Brandon Dyer, for a tour of the library, where you will discover the many services offered and learn how to search the library materials to better your educational journey efficiently.

Celebrate National Houseplant Appreciation Day! Library friends ages 5+, teens, and adults are welcome to drop into the children's department to select a baby plant to take home and nurture. While supplies last.

Tiny Tunes is a fun music and movement program for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Siblings are welcome. No registration is required.

Crafty Kids is a weekly crafting program led by local volunteer Mary Ann Cormier. This week, we'll paint on paper plates to create a picture of Winnie the Pooh and his honey pot.

Story Time is a fun session of storytelling, singing, and crafting. This activity is best suited for children aged between 3 to 5 years and siblings are more than welcome to participate. No prior registration is needed.

Library friends ages 5–12 are welcome to drop into the children's room to design a button to pin to their shirt or backpack. We'll provide the materials you'll need, and teach you how to use the button press. One button per person, please.

APL's Playgroup is a drop-in playtime for children aged 5 and under. We'll provide a safe and enjoyable play space with plenty of toys. It's a great opportunity to make new friends while having fun.

Join us for a free screening of the DisneyNature documentary, "Penguins: Life on the Edge." No registration is required. Parents/caregivers must stay with their child(ren) during the movie.

We'll provide a selection of toddler-friendly toys, allowing you to have a fun morning out and to make new friends in your community.

Mix two simple household ingredients to make a sensory "snow" you can play with. Then make your creation bubble and disappear by spraying it with vinegar. Supplies are limited, please register. Best for kids ages 5 and older.

Mr. Brandon is excited to introduce children to one of his favorite hobbies–diamond art. This involves using an adhesive canvas that has symbols and numbers to correspond with different colored gems.
