We'll provide a selection of toddler-friendly toys, allowing you to have a fun morning out and to make new friends in your community.

Story Time is a fun session of storytelling, singing, and crafting. This activity is best suited for children aged between 3 to 5 years and siblings are more than welcome to participate. No prior registration is needed.

Celebrate Dinovember with children's library staff. We'll read dinosaur stories, sing dinosaur action songs, make a dinosaur craft, and play pin the tail on the dinosaur. This activity is best suited for children ages 3–7 with adult supervision.

Attendees will choose from a selection of PG or G-rated dinosaur documentaries to watch in honor of Dinovember. No registration is required. Parents/caregivers must stay with their child(ren) during the movie.

APL's Playgroup is a drop-in playtime for children aged 5 and under. We'll provide a safe and enjoyable play space with plenty of toys. It's a great opportunity to make new friends while having fun.

Drop into the children's department to play board games with your friends and family. We'll provide a small selection of games, but feel free to bring your own. No registration is required.

Tiny Tunes is a fun music and movement program for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Siblings are welcome. No registration is required.

Calling all creative kids ages 8-12! Are you ready to unleash your inner artist? Join us at Moon Stone Pottery for our Ceramic Painting Library Program, where imagination meets fun in a colorful way!
 

Crafty Kids is a weekly crafting program led by local volunteer Mary Ann Cormier. This week, kids are invited to create a paper turkey to decorate their home for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Is the time change getting you down? Let's have some fun with it. We will race against time, find our birthday order, and take turns being a clock. Best for kids 6-12. No registration required. 

An arts & crafts project you can eat!  Our Thanksgiving themed project turns a simple Oreo into a turkey.  This program is best suited for children ages 8 to 12. The library will provide all the ingredients.

Stop by APL for an enjoyable and engaging lap-sit program for babies, toddlers, and caregivers. Siblings are also welcome to participate.

Let's hang out and read together. Bring your own book or borrow one of ours, and we will all enjoy some quiet reading time. Afterwards we can share what we have read, or not, the choice is up to you.

Meet Renée Brezovsky and her therapy dog, Meadow. Meadow is a blue merle Australian Shepherd who is excited to meet you. Sign up for your child's 15-minute appointment to read to Meadow. Call the library to register at 207-333-6640, x3.

We’re excited to share that the children’s department, with a bit of help from our awesome APL Technology Director, Brian, has created some cool 3D printed white canvas Pokémon minis.

We have all the LEGOs and space you need, just bring your imagination. Please note that this program is not suitable for very young children due to small pieces presenting a choking hazard. Registration is not required.

Mr. Brandon is excited to introduce children to one of his favorite hobbies–diamond art. This involves using an adhesive canvas that has symbols and numbers to correspond with different colored gems.
