Heritage Skills for Contemporary Life: A Journey with Author Elizabeth Miller, Sept. 29

Elizabeth Miller, author of  “Heritage Skills for Contemporary Living: Seasons at the Parris House” will be at the Auburn Public Library to talk about her life’s journey.  As a young girl, she enjoyed summering in Maine with her grandparents on Little Sebago Lake.  While living in suburban New Jersey working in the corporate world, she and her family made the decision to leave that lifestyle behind and move to Maine.  During her time with us, Elizabeth will talk about homesteading, the changing of the seasons, what she’s learned along the way, and why her family chose this lifestyle.

This program will take place in person, and registration is appreciated.
