Lending Associate (part time)

The Auburn Public Library (Auburn, ME) is accepting applications for a part-time Lending Associate.

● Preference will go to candidates who have a background in customer service in either a library, in public service or in direct sales.

Job Responsibilities:
● Performs lending functions: check items in/out, registers borrowers, places holds and collects fines.
● Assists customers in using self-checkout equipment and procedures
● Operates various office machines, computer terminals, and other equipment.
● Assists in processing online requests.
● Maintains first floor appearance.

● Part-time (17.5 hours per week)
● Evenings and Saturdays included

Hourly Rate:
● $15.00 per hour
