In the fourth installment of the Penelope Rex book series, Penelope wasn't sure she wanted to have a pet, but now she has Mittens, a saber tooth tiger! 

This book is another hit for Ryan Higgins.  The Penelope Rex books are always packed full of humor and portray great learning lessons for kids.  Pet ownership is often a struggle as Penelope Rex learns throughout the book, but the rewards outweigh the difficulties.
