Join Maine-based artist David Nicholson and learn the basics of 3D modeling with the beginner-friendly 3D software: Unbound.
Understand and apply 3D modeling principles including:
- Modeling using primitive geometry
- Texturing
- Lighting and Setting a scene
This short session will include a lesson on both Unbound and on the basics of 3D art, as well as a workshop where students will design and create their own character or object. Beginners welcome!
Registration required as space is limited. This program takes place in the Create! Media Lab which requires the participant to have a library card in good standing. Anyone between the ages 12-13 must have an internet user agreement on file with the library to use the computers.
