Kids

The Auburn Public Library Children’s Department is a place for kids to learn, grow, and explore. Our collection offers books, audiobooks, DVDs, Playaways, Wonderbooks, and online resources to the youth of our community, infants to age 12, and their parents/caregivers.

Try your hand at simple origami projects for beginners. Children's staff will show you how to create several projects using colorful paper. Groups will be small to give kids more individual attention. This program is best for children ages 8–12.

Drop into the Maggie Trafton Room and create a paper plate snail with local volunteer, Mary Ann Cormier. This program is best for school-aged children with adult supervision. No registration is required.

Story Time is a fun session of storytelling, singing, and crafting. This activity is best suited for children aged between 3 to 5 years and siblings are more than welcome to participate. No prior registration is needed.
