The Auburn Public Library Children’s Department is a place for kids to learn, grow, and explore. Our collection offers books, audiobooks, DVDs, Playaways, Wonderbooks, and online resources to the youth of our community, infants to age 12, and their parents/caregivers.

Playgroup for Ages 5 & Younger
APL's Playgroup is a drop-in playtime for children aged 5 and under. We'll provide a safe and enjoyable play space with plenty of toys. It's a great opportunity to make new friends while having fun.
Paint a Pumpkin
Kids ages 5–12 are invited to paint a pumpkin just in time for Halloween. Please dress to get messy. Supplies are limited, registration is required.
Family Movie Matinee: The Garfield Movie
Bring your whole family to a free viewing of The Garfield Movie. No registration is required. Parents/caregivers must stay with their child(ren) during the movie. Rated PG. Running time: 1 hour 41 minutes.
