The Local History Room, located on the library’s 2nd floor, contains historical documents and maps of Maine, with a focus on Androscoggin County. This room is available by appointment, however, a volunteer will be available to provide open browsing hours in the room every Wednesday and the 3rd Saturday of the month, from 9:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Appointments can be scheduled by contacting the Reference Desk at 333-6640 x4.
