Teens

Located on the 2nd floor of the library, APL’s teen collection offers teens ages 12-18 a variety of borrowing options such as YA books, manga, and graphic novels.

Our Teen Space is a free area dedicated to teens of our community to hang out, work on homework, or play games.  The Teen Space offers wobble stools, yoga ball chairs, a LEGO table, whiteboard tables, computers, and a large screen Smart TV.

Teen programming is offered throughout each month with arts & crafts, anime and manga club, comic making and more! Take a look at our calendar for more details.

#how2life

In 2025, five local teens  worked together to create a powerful video focused on supporting mental health in our community. This project was a special partnership between the Auburn Public Library and the Yellow Tulip Project, giving teens the opportunity to share their voices, creativity, and personal perspectives on this important topic. Their finished video is now ready to share, and we invite our community to watch and celebrate their inspiring work.
