Planning Your Future

As a young adult, it is time to begin to think about planning your future, whether this involves college, military service, or vocational training. Perhaps you’re simply not sure yet and want to explore career possibilities. APL’s Planning Your Future offers resources for career exploration, continuing education opportunities, college search tools, a list of Maine colleges and universities, information on financial aid and scholarships, as well as test prep websites. 

We also offer, in-person, an annual College Night for teens and parents. This bring colleges and universities from around Maine to the library. The evening opens with a panel discussion with selected admissions representatives and concludes with a mini college fair provides attendees a one-on-one with school representatives.
