Program Description

Event Details

Let's go batty for bats! Join special guest, Emma Lorusso (AVSWCD), to learn more about these small squeaky misunderstood animals. We'll decipher the difference between myths and facts about bats. Then we'll learn about bat species found in Maine, threats to their populations, and what we can do to support more bats in our forests! We'll play a few games to learn about echolocation. Then we'll work together to build a bat house that can house up to 80 bats! This program is for all ages. Please register. All materials provided.

This program is brought to you by the Androscoggin Valley Soil & Water Conservation District and the Auburn Public Library.
