The Camden Conference and the Auburn Public Library invite you to a book discussion of Midnight’s Borders: A People’s History of Modern India by Suchitra Vijayan.

The 2024 conference “India: Rising Ambitions, Challenges at Home” will take place February 16-18, 2024, and will be in person, in Camden, Maine. India is closing in on the world’s largest population and the second-largest economy while becoming a unique democracy, widely involved in global affairs. This brings to light several questions regarding its younger generation and its leadership in the Indo-Pacific region.
