Event Details

John Meader, an educator at the Northern Stars Planetarium in Fairfield, Maine, will teach families about both solar and lunar eclipses; what they are, and why they happen.   This program will also teach how to safely observe the upcoming total eclipse on April 8, 2024. The presentation takes place inside an inflated dome, which once sealed participants cannot exit or reenter.  Youth in grades 3rd through 6th are best suited to attend. Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in.
