Event Details

Have you ever wanted to try computer coding? Join children's library staff for an Hour of Code. The Hour of Code is an introduction to computer science through fun activities for learners of all skill levels. Follow simple tutorials to learn the basics and have fun in the process. We will use computational thinking and drag-and-drop programming to problem-solve through entertaining games. The games are largely self-directed, but we'll be on hand to point you in the right direction.

Computers are limited. Kids ages 8–12 are encouraged to register. Please register ALL attendees–even parents. A minimum of four participants will be required to run this program.
