Purpose of Meeting
Lake Auburn Watershed Protection Commission (LAWPC) is hosting a public information session regarding the septic inspection ordinance issued by the City of Auburn, and the support that LAWPC can provide to property owners. LAWPC plans to help property owners identify certified septic inspectors, coordinate the process to ensure the City receives all necessary documents, and reimburse property owners up to $400 for the inspection.
This information session is intended for property owners with septic systems located within the Year 1 inspection area of the watershed (as determined by the City), though all are welcome to attend. A presentation will be followed by time for questions, and light refreshments will be provided.
