Event Details
Kids in grades 3–7 and their caregivers are invited to an informational session about our 6-week graphic novel program! Join Brandon Dyer, the Children's Librarian, as he guides young creators through reading, writing, and illustrating their very own graphic novels.
After the informational portion of the meeting, kids are encouraged to stay to learn about different types of graphic novels — from superheroes and fantasy to memoir and manga — and even try their hand at creating their own graphic novel page.
Story Smash officially starts on April 13th and is a commitment to attend all six sessions.
