Program Description

Event Details

Make up, tattoos, neck rings, scarification ... Humans have always used their bodies as a canvas.  We will take a light-hearted look at how we have modified our bodies for the sake of beauty.

This talk will be presented by Judy Hierstein.  Judy's past has always included art-related occupations.  Now that she is retired, she uses her senior college offerings to revisit past passions and explore new ones.

This presentation, part of a series entitled "Senior College in the Community" is made possible by a partnership with Senior College at USM Lewiston-Auburn College.  Lewiston-Auburn Senior College has a longstanding relationship with community partners.  In addition to this program, Senior College offers in person, Zoom, and hybrid enrichment classes.  For more information about Senior College, visit usm.maine.edu/seniorcollege.

This program will take place in the Androscoggin Community Room.  No registration is required.
