APL's Local History Room will be open and available today from 9:00 a.m.

Meet Renée Brezovsky and her therapy dog, Meadow. Meadow is a blue merle Australian Shepherd who is excited to meet you. Sign up for your child's 15-minute appointment to read to Meadow. Call the library to register at 207-333-6640, x3. 

The Auburn Public Library Bookstore is open on Saturday mornings, from 9:00am-12:30pm. Choose from hundreds of gently used books, with most prices under $4. We have books for children, teens, and adults.

Tiny Tunes is a fun music and movement program for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Siblings are welcome. No registration is required.

Story Time is a fun session of storytelling, singing, and crafting. This activity is best suited for children aged between 3 to 5 years and siblings are more than welcome to participate. No prior registration is needed.

Children 18 months and younger, and their caregivers, are welcome to join us for a special Little Roots music class.

Stop by APL for an enjoyable and engaging lap-sit program for babies, toddlers, and caregivers. Siblings are also welcome to participate.

Drop into the children's department to play board games with your friends and family. We'll provide a small selection of games, but feel free to bring your own. No registration is required.

As part of our partnership with the National Digital Equity Center, a Digital Navigator will be available, in the Computer Lab, on select Mondays from 1:00-3:00 pm.  Bailey works within Androscoggin County to help close the digital divide.

Tracy Hart, who has spent many years working with Maine’s loon population both for the annual loon count and for the Loon Restoration Project, will talk with us about the health of our symbolic birds and what is being done to protect them.

We'll supply everything you need to try your hand at weaving on a cardboard loom. Make a simple piece of woven fabric that can be used as a trivet or mug rug for you or someone you love. This event is for kids ages 8–12 and their families.

Community Credit Union's Financial & Life Navigator, Ginger Leigh Smith, will be on site at the Auburn Public Library today.  The navigator can help with resource coordination, financial education, and serves as a conduit for stability in

Children in grades 2–6 are invited to participate in Kids Can Cook with APL children's staff. This month, we will be making pizza, hosted by Cibo Pizza! Kids will enjoy eating their own custom pizza.

Whether it be crocheting, drawing, origami or something else entirely, The Teen Space Craft Club serves as a time to work on any arts and crafts related projects, share advice and learn something new.

Crafty Kids is a weekly crafting program led by local volunteer Mary Ann Cormier. This week, we'll use colorful strips of paper to weave a basket.

Stop by the Auburn Public Library to play chess with friends and neighbors!

All are welcome, drop-in anytime weekly on Wednesdays between 4:00-5:30 PM.

We have all the LEGOs and space you need, just bring your imagination. Please note that this program is not suitable for very young children due to small pieces presenting a choking hazard. Registration is not required.
