Holy Bagumba! This book has it all. A squirrel with special powers, a girl who is a self-proclaimed cynic, and a romance writing villain. Join children's staff for our Flora & Ulysses book club. This book will leave you craving to turn the next page, and it will r-e-a-l-l-y expand your vocabulary. We'll read aloud, eat snacks, play games, write squirrel poetry on a typewriter, learn to draw your own comics, and more. This program is best for independent readers ages 8–12. Supplies are limited. Please register. Participants will be expected to read the book and attend all three sessions on 9/10, 9/24, & 10/8. This book has 230 pages, and it's a hoot to read. A free copy of the book will be distributed at our first meeting on September 10th.
