APL's Local History Room will be open and available today from 9:00 a.m.

Tiny Tunes is a fun music and movement program for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Siblings are welcome. No registration is required.

Story Time is a fun session of storytelling, singing, and crafting. This activity is best suited for children aged between 3 to 5 years and siblings are more than welcome to participate. No prior registration is needed.

APL's Playgroup is a drop-in playtime for children aged 5 and under. We'll provide a safe and enjoyable play space with plenty of toys. It's a great opportunity to make new friends while having fun.

Drop into the children's department to play board games with your friends and family. We'll provide a small selection of games, but feel free to bring your own. No registration is required.

Registration is required to participate in all four sessions of this program. 

As part of our partnership with the National Digital Equity Center, a Digital Navigator will be available, in the Computer Lab, on select Mondays from 1:00-3:00 pm.  Bailey works within Androscoggin County to help close the digital divide.

Join children's department staff as we create pony bead keychains with pony beads and gimp. This program is for kids ages 8–12. Supplies are limited, please register. Registration will open at 8:00 a.m.

Join Brandon Dyer, Children's Librarian as he briefly talks about Alma's color patterns and abstract artwork. Brandon will show an example of Alma's artwork before children and families can replicate Alma's art style of color and linear artwork.

Come make thermochromic slime! This slime will change into different color depending on the temperature it is expose to. This program is best suited from children ages 6 through 12.

This in-person workshop is for those who are interested in safety online and want to protect themselves from fraudsters and scams.

Let's hang out and read together. Bring your own book or borrow one of ours, and we will all enjoy some quiet reading time. Afterwards we can share what we have read, or not, the choice is up to you.
