Event Details

Bill Frayer will be the featured speaker at the Auburn Public Library on October 24 at 2:00 p.m.  Bill will share his travels to Croatia, whose coastline hugs the deep blue Adriatic Sea, and has a complicated, sometimes tragic history.  The land is gorgeous, the people engaging, and the culture ancient.  After completing a 12-day Rhode Scholar trip throughout Croatia, Bill will present a Zoom travelogue to cover a bit of history, some stories, and lots of photos of this beautiful country.

Bill Frayer is a long-time Senior College instructor.  He has degrees from Brown and USM, and taught for over 30 years at Central Maine Community College.

This program will take place in person, in the Androscoggin Community Room.  No registration is required.

This presentation is part of a fall series entitled Senior College in the Community offered through a partnership with Lewiston Auburn Senior College.  Lewiston Auburn Senior College has a long-standing relationship with community partners.  In addition to this program, Senior College offers in-person, Zoom, and hybrid enrichment classes.  For more information about Senior College, visit https://laseniorcollege.org/.
